Accreditation  - Years of experiance

The safety and security of all our campers is our number one concern and the top priority of Ace-Hi. We undergo an annual review by The Australian Campsite Accreditation Program. This is a voluntary program developed in conjunction with the department of education and endorsed by the Tourism Accreditation Board of Victoria. It ensures campsites have safe and reasonable practices.
Ace-Hi is also a member of the program administered by the 'CAMPING ASSOCIATION OF VICTORIA INC'. and campsites who satisfy the requirements which make up the program are entitled to use the term ‘CAV ACCREDITED CAMPSITE’

All Ace-Hi riding staff as at February 99 were put through the AHSE certification clinic. This course is conducted over a 5 day period. Further training will tale place Bi annually to keep up with any new staff. Our staff must have at least five years riding experience, the ability to communicate with children in a learning environment and must be willing to undertake further training as required.

The Australian Campsite Accreditation Program provides a set of requirements in the following areas:

  • health, hygiene and safety
  • buildings and facilities
  • activity equipment and the conduct of activities
  • campsite administration
  • emergency procedures
  • camper supervision
  • quality assurance and consumer protection for campers
