Both students & teachers will love staying in our unique "Wild West" themed accommodation.

Here at Ace-Hi we can sleep up to 180 Secondary School students plus staff; and 160 Primary School students plus staff. Students and staff have the option of staying in our Ensuite Cabins, Homestead Dormitories, our Rutherglen Red Train (Dormitory), our Hay & Grain cabin or our Western themed wagons.

ENSUITE CABINS:

(Secondary Schools)

Our 12 cabins can sleep up to 8-9 students or up to 7 staff in each. We recommend that schools use cabins 1-4 & 7- 2 for students, leaving cabins 5 & 6 for staff to separate the group (e.g. boys and girls). Each cabin has 1 double bed (1-2 people), 2 sets of bunks (4 people) and 1 set of triple bunks (3 people). All cabins have an ensuite, and all students have access to their own fridge for keeping their water bottles cold. All persons are required to bring their own sleeping bag, pillow and towel. All cabins have a reverse cycle heater/air-conditioner. Staff cabins also have access to a microwave, tea/coffee making facilities and a colour TV. 

(Primary Schools)

HOMESTEADS:

(Secondary Schools)

We have 2 dormitory style homesteads that sleep 20 students. There are 6 sets of triple bunks (18 people) and 1 set of normal bunks (2 people). Both homesteads have 2 ensuites to cater for large numbers. There is plenty of additional room to move in the homesteads, and they have ceiling fans for cooling. All persons are required to bring their own sleeping bag, pillow and towel.

(Primary Schools)

We have 2 dormitory style homesteads that sleep 14 students. There are 6 sets of triple bunks (12 people) and 1 set of normal bunks (2 people). Due to age restrictions, we do not recommend that children under 12 years sleep on the top triple bunk. Both homesteads have 2 ensuites to cater for large numbers. There is plenty of additional room to move in the homesteads, and they have ceiling fans for cooling. All persons are required to bring their own sleeping bag, pillow and towel.

HAY & GRAIN CABIN:

(Primary Schools & Secondary Schools)

Our hay & grain cabin is a country style cabin that sleeps 7 people. There are 3 sets of bunks (6 people) and a single bed (1 person). It is has an ensuite, tea/coffee making facilities, colour TV and a bar fridge. We recommend this cabin for staff as it’s situated near the Homesteads, Rutherglen Red Train & Western Wagons. 

If there are staff or students who require disabled access, with prior knowledge, we can prepare this cabin for use. It has wider door frames at the entrance and into the bathroom, it has a larger bathroom area; and we can also attach a small ramp to the balcony. All persons are required to bring their own sleeping bag, pillow and towel.

RUTHERGLEN RED TRAIN:

(Primary Schools & Secondary Schools)

The Rutherglen Red Rattler is a converted bunkhouse train that sleeps 16 people. There are 4 sets of bunks (8 people) in 2 separate rooms. This accommodation requires the use of the toilet/shower block only a short walk away. All persons are required to bring their own sleeping bag, pillow and towel.

WESTERN WAGONS:

(Primary Schools & Secondary Schools)

We have 9 authentic western wagons that each sleep 4 people. This accommodation requires the use of the toilet/shower block only a short walk away. We recommend that if students are sleeping in these that 8 are used for students and the last one for staff. All persons are required to bring their own sleeping bag, pillow and towel.
