We conduct trail rides for 7 years and above and pony rides fo 6 years and under.
The Scenic Trail rides are suitable for persons 7 years and above.
We recommend the Bush n Beach ride is suitable for confident/moderate riders 7 years and above and/or for beginner adults.
Forest ride is suitable for riders above 7 years provided they are experienced riders.

Riders need to wear enclosed shoes. A small heal is prefered, however runners or boots are suitable. We highly recommend long pants when riding. As our rides are outside with minimal shade, weather approriate clothes are also recommend.
We supply all riders helmets that meet industry standards ASNZS3838 (2006 onwards) helmets (with the SAI Global mark) or equivilant. You may bring your own riding helmet and we will check to ensure it meets standards and then your are free to wear it.
Hair nets can be supplied if you wish to wear under the helmet.
Ace-Hi still conducts rides in the rain, however if torrential rain or storms we may call to reschedule at a more pleasant time. If you wish to cancel due to bad weather you are required to give a 24 hours notice so we can reschedule your ride.
If for any reason you are unable to make the time/date you have previously booked, you will need to call us to reschedule a new time/date. Refunds will be given, provided suitable notice is given. Cancelling on the day may result in loss of monies as we will already have staff here to take your ride. Failure to show with no notice will result in loss of monies.
You wil need to call us one-two weeks prior to your accommdation booking and we can confirm the riding times for you.
An experienced rider is a person who is confident with all aspects of trail riding; including walking, trotting and cantering. They will have had significant riding experience in all weather types and be able to safely control their horse, under all conditions.
